Hella is a small town in southern Iceland on the shores of the river Ytri-Rangá and has, as of 2017, 1537 inhabitants. Hella is situated 94 kilometres to the east of Reykjavík on the Hringvegur between Selfoss and Hvolsvöllur. Hella is the largest settlement in the municipality Rangárþing Ytra.
