The Icelandic Goat Center Háafell

Háafell farm is a goat farm and the visitors receive a warm welcome from the goats.

The Icelandic goat is an endangered species and the Icelandic Goat Centre at Háafell is working towards protecting and maintaining the goat stock in Iceland. Visitors receive a warm welcome from the goats, which are very people-friendly.

Other animals on the farm are horses, sheep, Icelandic chickens, silkie chickens, dogs and cats. 

Toilet facilities available. Local Food store. Goat products, bath products, creams, soaps, leather and handcrafts.

Open June 1st – August 31st from 13:00 to 18:00 and upon request.

For a guided tour around the farm we charge 1500 isk for adult and 750 isk for kids 7 – 17 years.
