Sie liefert 200 Liter pro Sekunde an 100\u00b0C (212\u00b0F) hei\u00dfem Wasser. Um die perfekte Badetemperatur zu erreichen, wird das hei\u00dfe Wasser mit kalten Wasser aus Rau\u00f0sgil gemischt, welches von dem Gletscher Ok stammt, dem kleinsten Gletscher Islands. Besucher k\u00f6nnen die Quelle Deildartunguhver direkt neben dem Bad sehen, und beobachten, wie das Wasser sprudelnd an die Oberfl\u00e4che gelangt und gegen gr\u00fcnbemooste und zerkl\u00fcftete Felsen spritzt. Zu beobachten wo das hei\u00dfe Wasser seinen Ursprung hat erg\u00e4nzt das einmalige Erlebnis.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Wichtige Hei\u00dfwasserquelle<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Deildartunguhver ist f\u00fcr die ganze Region sehr wichtig. Das hei\u00dfe Wasser aus der Quelle wird zum Gro\u00dfteil zum Beheizen von Wohnungen in den Orten Akranes und Borgarnes in Westisland benutzt. Die Hei\u00dfwasserleitung nach Akranes ist 64 Kilometer lang und somit die l\u00e4ngste auf Island. Das Wasser ist ca. 78-80\u00b0C hei\u00df wenn es Akranes erreicht. Wenn man von Reykjavik aus startet, dann kann man au\u00dferdem einen Halt in dem beschaulichen Fischereiort Akranes einlegen und den Leuchtturm des Ortes f\u00fcr eine fantastische Aussicht besichtigen. Danach geht es weiter nach Borgarnes um das Landnahmezentrum zu besuchen und \u00fcber die ber\u00fchmten Sagas zu lernen. In Reykholt kann das Isl\u00e4ndische Ziegenzentrum besucht werden, und man kann verschiedene Orte kennenlernen wo Snorri Sturluson, einer der ber\u00fchmtesten und wichtigsten Figuren Isl\u00e4ndischer Literatur, gelebt und gewirkt hat. Snorri hat die Edda verfasst, die Egilssaga, und die Heimskringla und starb im Jahre 1241. In Westisland gibt es also viel zu sehen und zu unternehmen und Krauma ist dabei einen Besuch wert.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Besuche Krauma<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Geologische Enthusiasten und diejenigen, die Wellness lieben, wird der Besuch von Krauma gefallen.
