Die Gemeinde Dj\u00fapivogur ist Cittaslow.<\/h2>\n

Das h\u00fcbsche St\u00e4dtchen Dj\u00fapivogur liegt auf einer Halbinsel im s\u00fcd\u00f6stlichen Island neben der Insel Papey bei dem Fjord Berufj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n

Der gesamte Bezirk von Dj\u00fapivogur (Dj\u00fapavogshreppur) ist umgeben von wundersch\u00f6ner Natur wobei Fjorde die K\u00fcste s\u00e4umen und die Wellen des Nordatlantiks unabl\u00e4ssig an die K\u00fcste rollen. Inmitten von einer Vielfalt an kleinen Inseln, Sch\u00e4ren und scharfkantigen Felsenriffen bietet der Ort einen erholsamen Blick auf Isl\u00e4ndische Natur. Familienfreundliche Sandstr\u00e4nde, beide, schwarz und hell und leicht r\u00f6tlich gef\u00e4rbt, exquisite Wasserf\u00e4lle, \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigende Berge neben gr\u00fcnen T\u00e4lern \u2013 und sogar ein paar Gletschern.<\/p>\n

Eine Gegend, die vielleicht isoliert ist, aber die prall gef\u00fcllt ist mit interessanter Geschichte und gro\u00dfartigen Erz\u00e4hlungen. Hier nimmt die Naturwahrnehmung eine gro\u00dfe Rolle im Leben jedes einzelnen ein und die Gesellschaft ist nicht bereit den schnellen Lebensstil zu akzeptieren, der sonst gr\u00f6\u00dfere Orte pr\u00e4gt.<\/p>\n

Hier erf\u00fcllt ein Hauch von Gelassenheit das Land und seine Bewohner.<\/p>\n

Glanzlichter der Natur <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Natur spielt in Dj\u00fapivogur eine gro\u00dfe Rolle. Vogelbeobachtungen sind sehr beliebt, da Feuchtgebiete einen idealen Lebensraum f\u00fcr V\u00f6gel darstellen, zudem gibt es \u00fcberall angelegte Wanderpfade und eine spezielle, detaillierte Karte ist f\u00fcr diejenigen verf\u00fcgbar, die die Natur zu Fu\u00df erkunden wollen. Umfangreiche Projekte wurden in den letzten Jahren in der Region angefangen und sind auch f\u00fcr die Zukunft geplant \u2013Wege, Markierungen oder andere Orientierungspunkte werden geplant und angelegt.<\/p>\n

Gro\u00dfe Rentierherden befinden sich f\u00fcr den gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil des Jahres in dieser Region und Seehunde sieht man h\u00e4ufig in K\u00fcstenn\u00e4he.<\/p>\n

Naturschutz ist in Dj\u00fapivogur ein wichtiges Thema \u2013 die Kommune ist die erste Gemeinde, die wirbellose Tiere sch\u00fctzt, wie z.B. Agabus uliginosus, was der Gattung der K\u00e4fer angeh\u00f6rt und in der Pal\u00e4arktis heimisch ist, au\u00dferdem in Europa.<\/p>\n

\"Fl\u00f3rgo\u00f0ar\"<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend die Region weitgehend f\u00fcr seine kulturellen und geologischen Orte bekannt ist, ist Teigarhorn das renommierteste Naturschutzgebiet. Es ist weltweit angesehen f\u00fcr seine Zeolithe und die Entdeckung von verschiedenen Kristallen in unmittelbarere Umgebung ist beachtlich. Das Gebiet um Teigarhorn ist seit 1975 gesch\u00fctzt, als es zum Nationaldenkmal erkl\u00e4rt wurde, und untersteht dem Naturschutzgesetzt.<\/p>\n

Das bekannteste Kunstwerk der Gemeinde Dj\u00fapivogur sind die Eier von Gle\u00f0iv\u00edk, welches ein Kunstwerk im Freien ist und von dem Isl\u00e4ndischen K\u00fcnstler Sigur\u00f0ur Gudmundssson gefertigt wurde. Es besteht aus 34 Eiern, jedes steht f\u00fcr eine Gattung einheimischer V\u00f6gel. Die Eier sind alle \u00e4hnlich gro\u00df bis auf eins, welches das gr\u00f6\u00dfte ist und dem Sterntaucher geh\u00f6rt. Er ist der kennzeichnende Vogel von Dj\u00fapivogur.<\/p>\n

Geschichte bei jedem Schritt<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Der Dj\u00fapavogshreppur ist voll von Geschichte. Die alten Isl\u00e4ndischen Sagas berichten von der Existenz Irischer M\u00f6nche, die Papar genannt wurden und auf der Insel Papey lebten, noch bevor die ersten Siedler kamen, ebenso vor der \u00dcberwinterung des Norwegischen Wikingers Ing\u00f3lfur Arnarsson und seines Ziehbruders Hj\u00f6rleifur im \u00c1lftafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Fjord. Ing\u00f3lfur Arnarson galt sp\u00e4ter als der erste dauerhafte Siedler von Island. Es wurden in der N\u00e4he der Region Brag\u00f0avellir Sch\u00e4tze gefunden, welche r\u00f6mische M\u00fcnzen von 300 A.D. enthalten, und Aufschluss geben \u00fcber r\u00f6mische Schiffen an den K\u00fcsten von Island. Noch j\u00fcngere Quellen offenbaren die Ankunft von Handelsm\u00e4nnern aus Hamburg, die 1589 in Dj\u00fapivogur siedelten, die schreckliche Verschleppung von vielen Leuten aus der Region durch Piraten aus Marokko und Algerien im Jahre 1627, und die aufbl\u00fchende Fischindustrie im Ort Dj\u00fapivogur. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Cittaslow- Lebe den Moment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dj\u00fapavogshreppur ist seit 2003 Teil der Cittaslow Bewegung. Seine Bewohner sind bekannt daf\u00fcr vern\u00fcnftig und r\u00fccksichtsvoll mit ihrer Umgebung umzugehen. Die Organisation Cittaslow wurde 1999 in Italien gegr\u00fcndet, mit dem Ziel, die Lebensqualit\u00e4t von Menschen in St\u00e4dten zu verbessern dadurch, dass insgesamt das Tempo verringert wird. Der Fokus liegt dabei besonders auf der Nutzung von Stadtfl\u00e4che, auf Lebensabl\u00e4ufen und Verkehr. Cittaslow ist ein kultureller Trend und bekannt als entschleunigter Lebensstil und das Cittaslow Logo gilt als Qualit\u00e4tsmerkmal. Die Gemeinde unterst\u00fctzt die Cittaslow Bewegung und Dj\u00fapavogshreppur benutzt das Cittaslow Logo als Siegel der Anerkennung f\u00fcr Produkte, die haupts\u00e4chlich ihren Ursprung in der Region haben, ob es Lebensmittel, Handwerk oder anderes ist. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Mit einer Bev\u00f6lkerung von ca. 450 Einwohnern bl\u00fcht das Leben der hier ans\u00e4ssigen auf. Die Schulen von Dj\u00fapivogur haben gr\u00fcne Flaggen und es wird Wert darauf gelegt, eine attraktive und unterst\u00fctzende Gemeinde aufzubauen, wobei umweltfreundliche Unternehmen unterst\u00fctzt werden.<\/p>\n
