Es wurde in Deutschland um Arbeitskr\u00e4fte geworben, wobei etwa 300 Personen nach Island kamen um auf isl\u00e4ndischen Bauernh\u00f6fen zu arbeiten. Etwa die H\u00e4lfte, davon meistens Frauen, lie\u00dfen sich hier nieder. Ihre Nachkommen sind mittlerweile zahlreich.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-%C3%81rb%C3%A6jarsafn-heimar.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-%C3%81rb%C3%A6jarsafn-heimar.jpg\" alt=\"HEIMAt \u2013 tveir \u00c1rb\u00e6jarsafn - heimar\" class=\"wp-image-169461\"><\/a><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Fotoausstellung \u201eHEIMAt\u201c von Marzena Skubatz ist der Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung und gibt einen Einblick in das Leben der heutigen Frauen aus dieser Gruppe. Der Zuschauer wird auf eine poetische Reise mitgenommen, wo die Geschichte und Erinnerungen dieser Frauen die Hauptrolle haben. Dabei werden fr\u00f6hliche als auch wehm\u00fctige Seiten des Lebens eingeschlossen, die einen Einblick gew\u00e4hren in das Zuhause derjenigen, die ihre alten Wurzeln aufgeben mussten um sie an einem neuen und fremden Ort wieder zu festigen.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-heimar-guests.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-heimar-guests-1024x756.jpg\" alt=\"HEIMAt-\u2013-tveir-heimar-guests\" class=\"wp-image-169519\"><\/a><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um den zwei Heimaten, Island und Deutschland, wie der Titel es andeutet, einen noch deutlicheren Ausdruck zu verleihen, gibt es au\u00dfer der \u201eHEIMAt\u201c auch noch weitere geschichtstr\u00e4chtige Fotos zum Thema in der Ausstellung zu sehen. <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><a href=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-heimar-guests-interviewed-1024x576.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-heimar-guests-interviewed-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"HEIMAt \u2013 tveir heimar guests interviewed\" data-id=\"169526\" data-link=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/is\/heimat-tveir-heimar\/heimat-tveir-heimar-guests-interviewed\/\" class=\"wp-image-169526\"><\/a><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><a href=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-heimar-guest-being-interviewed-1024x611.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/HEIMAt-%E2%80%93-tveir-heimar-guest-being-interviewed-1024x611.jpg\" alt=\"HEIMAt \u2013 tveir heimar guest being interviewed\" data-id=\"169531\" data-link=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/is\/heimat-tveir-heimar\/heimat-tveir-heimar-guest-being-interviewed\/\" class=\"wp-image-169531\"><\/a><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zum einen handelt es sich um beeindruckende Fotos des isl\u00e4ndischen Roten Kreuzes, welche von dem Fotomuseum Reykjaviks aufbewahrt werden. Sie zeigen die Zerst\u00f6rung von St\u00e4dten und Orten in Deutschland nach Luftangriffen. Magn\u00fasson, Pionier der Pressefotografie auf Island, traf am 8. Juni im Jahre 1949 am Hafen in Reykjavik ein um \u00fcber das Ereignis zu berichten, n\u00e4mlich, dass das Schiff Esja die erste gro\u00dfe Einwanderergruppe im 20. Jahrhundert nach Island brachte. Die f\u00fcnf Pressefotos aus der Sammlung der Zeitung Morgunbla\u00f0i\u00f0 zeigen die Gruppe an ihrem Anreisetag. Au\u00dferdem kann man sagen, dass diese besonderen Bilder die beiden beschriebenen Zuhause durch die \u00dcberfahrt von L\u00fcbeck in Deutschland bis zum Antreffen im Hafen von Reykjavik verbinden.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/L%C3%BA%C3%B0v%C3%ADg-%C3%A1-fer%C3%B0-sinni-um-%C3%9E%C3%BDskland.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/L%C3%BA%C3%B0v%C3%ADg-%C3%A1-fer%C3%B0-sinni-um-%C3%9E%C3%BDskland-1024x734.jpg\" alt=\"L\u00fa\u00f0v\u00edg \u00e1 fer\u00f0 sinni um \u00de\u00fdskland\" class=\"wp-image-169451\"><\/a><figcaption>L\u00fa\u00f0v\u00edg auf seiner Deutschlandreise<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eHeimat\u201c ist kein geografischer Begriff, sondern liegt es in einem selbst,\u201c wie der russische Schriftsteller und Regimekritiker Andrej Sinjawski (1925-97) erkl\u00e4rte. Diese Beschreibung trifft auch sehr gut auf die Ausstellung zu. Abgesehen davon, dass sie den deutschen Einwanderern und ihrem Leben ein Denkmal setzt, so erinnert \u201eHEIMAt \u2013 zwei Welten\u201c uns auch daran, dass es st\u00e4ndig Leute gibt, die zwischen L\u00e4ndern in der Welt umherziehen. Oft geschieht dies aufgrund von Kriegen oder anderen ung\u00fcnstigen Umst\u00e4nden. Migration ist daher nicht befristet, sondern ein anhaltender Zustand, den man im gro\u00dfen, geschichtlichen Zusammenhang betrachten muss.
