Hier wurde das Wasser schon fr\u00fch zum Baden oder Waschen verwendet. Als Mitte des 20ten Jahrhunderts bei H\u00fasav\u00edkurh\u00f6f\u00f0i nach hei\u00dfem Wasser gebohrt wurde, stellte sich heraus, dass es sich hierbei um hei\u00dfes Meereswasser handelt, jedoch zu reich an Mineralien um es f\u00fcr die Beheizung von H\u00e4usern zu verwenden.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Geothermal-sea-bath-H%C3%BAsavik.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-165771\" src=\"https:\/\/icelandictimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Geothermal-sea-bath-H%C3%BAsavik-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Geothermal sea baths H\u00fasavik\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anstatt dass das Wasser ungenutzt blieb, so wurde ein altes Fischfass bei H\u00fasav\u00edkurh\u00f6f\u00f0i aufgestellt. Hier konnten die Bewohner von H\u00fasav\u00edk die Gesundheitsvorteile vom Bad im hei\u00dfen Meerwasser genie\u00dfen.
