DIE VULKANE IN FAGRADALSFJALL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die Lava aus dem neuen Ausbruch in Meradalir bedeckt laut Daten des geologischen Instituts der Universit\u00e4t Island mittlerweile 1,25 Quadratkilometer. Messungen, die das Institut seit den letzten zehn Tagen durchf\u00fchrt, zeigen, dass der Lavastrom bei 10,4 Kubikmetern pro Sekunde liegt. Damit \u00e4hnelt er stark dem Lavastrom aus dem Ausbruch im letzten Jahr in den gleichen Regionen. Ein Drittel der Lava str\u00f6mte in den ersten Tagen nach dem Ausbruch. Das nun von der Lava bedeckte Gebiet hat ungef\u00e4hr die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Hyde Parks in London und fast ein Drittel der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Central Parks in New York. Es wird interessant sein zu sehen, ob die Lava, sobald sie das Tal gef\u00fcllt hat, in dem nun der Ausbruch stattfindet, nach Norden Richtung Keflav\u00edkurvegur und zum Dorf Vogar auf Vatnsleysustr\u00f6nd oder nach S\u00fcden Richtung Su\u00f0urstrandarvegur und zum Meer str\u00f6mt.<\/p>\n
