Hrafntinnusker ist das erste Ziel, wenn man auf dem Laugavegur wandert, dem beliebtesten Hochland-Wanderweg des Landes, der von Landmannalaugar nach \u00de\u00f3rsm\u00f6rk f\u00fchrt. Es gibt einen 12 km langen, gut gekennzeichneten Fu\u00dfweg, der recht steil ist, da Hrafntinnusker auf einer H\u00f6he von 1100 Metern der h\u00f6chste Punkt des Laugavegur ist. In Hrafntinnusker befindet sich die H\u00fctte der Iceland Travel Association, H\u00f6skuldarsk\u00e1li, die 1977 gebaut wurde. S\u00fcdlich von Hrafntinnusker liegt die n\u00e4chste H\u00fctte in \u00c1lftavatn. Was Hrafntinnusker so besonders macht, sind die Farben, die hei\u00dfen Quellen, die Gletscher und die Schneehaufen, die noch Mitte September, selbst nach<br \/>\neinem guten Sommer, dort vorhanden sind. In diesem Gebiet treten bei Torfaj\u00f6kull die h\u00f6chsten Temperaturen des Landes auf.
