Ihr erstes Buch <em>Ey\u00f0ib\u00fdli<\/em> \/ <em>Abandoned Farms<\/em> wurde 2004 ver\u00f6ffentlicht und bekam wohlverdiente Aufmerksamkeit. Ihre gesammelten Werke sind seitdem in verschiedenen Formen weit gereist und werden mit gro\u00dfer Begeisterung aufgenommen. Die Gedichte wurden in Musik umgesetzt und die Fotografien verzieren Einb\u00e4nde und Zeitschriftenseiten.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00f0alsteinn \u00c1sberg, der in der nordisl\u00e4ndischen Stadt H\u00fasav\u00edk geboren wurde und zurzeit in Reykjav\u00edk lebt, ist eine geachtete Pers\u00f6nlichkeit in der isl\u00e4ndischen Literaturszene. Sein literarisches Deb\u00fct machte er 1977 mit dem Gedichtband <em>\u00d3s\u00e1nar lendur \/ Virgin Soil.<\/em> Seit den 70ern hat er viele Gedichtb\u00e4nde, Gedicht\u00fcbersetzungen, einen Roman, eine Sammlung mit Kurzgeschichten und ein Dutzend Kinderb\u00fccher herausgebracht. Seine Gedichte wurden in zahlreiche Sprachen \u00fcbersetzt. Er schreibt allerdings nicht nur, sondern hat auch Aufnahmen seiner Gedichte und Songs produziert und mit mehreren bekannten Musikern zusammengearbeitet.A\u00f0alsteinn \u00c1sberg ist Gr\u00fcnder und Herausgeber von Dimma Publishing, das sich mit der isl\u00e4ndischen Literatur und \u00dcbersetzungen ausl\u00e4ndischer Literatur besch\u00e4ftigt. Dimma ist auch ein Musiklabel, haupts\u00e4chlich f\u00fcr Folkmusik und Jazz.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00f6kkvi, der in der nordisl\u00e4ndischen Stadt Sau\u00f0\u00e1rkr\u00f3kur geboren wurde, begann 1987 seine Karriere als Fotograf und besch\u00e4ftigte sich haupts\u00e4chlich mit Schwarz-Wei\u00df-Fotografie. Das Fotografieren verlassener H\u00e4user und Bauernh\u00f6fe ist seine pers\u00f6nliche Leidenschaft.
