Sie waren die Ersten, die Fl\u00fcssen, Bergen und Orten jene Namen gaben, die sie heute weltber\u00fchmt machen. Viele H\u00f6fe k\u00f6nnen ihre Wurzeln bis in die Tage der Landnahme zur\u00fcckverfolgen. Steigen Sie auf ein schwankendes Schiff und erhalten Sie einen Eindruck davon, wie es wohl gewesen sein muss, das Meer auf einem offenen Schiff zu \u00fcberqueren! Lauschen Sie der Stimme des Geschichtenerz\u00e4hlers, w\u00e4hrend Figuren hinter Glasscheiben stumm \u00fcber Ihnen wachen. Im Souterrain befindet sich eine Ausstellung \u00fcber den Sagahelden und Siedlersohn Egill Skallagr\u00edmsson.
