Die isl\u00e4ndische Wirtschaft beruht auf drei S\u00e4ulen, die alle ungef\u00e4hr die gleiche Gewichtung haben. Erstens ist da der Tourismus. Touristen sch\u00e4tzen die isl\u00e4ndische Natur und das isl\u00e4ndische Essen wie Lamm, Gem\u00fcse und Fisch. Dann gibt es die Industrie. Sie generiert gr\u00fcne Energie f\u00fcr die drei gro\u00dfen Aluminiumfabriken im Land. Und die dritte S\u00e4ule ist die Fischerei, die nicht nur heute, sondern seit Jahrhunderten das R\u00fcckgrat des Landes ist. Sie macht es bewohnbar und schafft Arbeitspl\u00e4tze und Wohlstand. Wie viel Fisch in isl\u00e4ndischen Gew\u00e4ssern gefangen werden darf, regelt eine Quote, die das Parlament zur Verwaltung der Fischereien beschlossen hat. Niemand kann eine h\u00f6here Quote als 12 % haben, um das Gleichgewicht und die gerechte Verteilung dieser Ressource sicherzustellen, die nat\u00fcrlich nicht endlos ist. Deshalb wurde das Quotensystem eingef\u00fchrt. Wir fangen ungef\u00e4hr eine Million Tonnen Fisch pro Jahr, was fast 15 Milliarden an Exporteinnahmen entspricht. Das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Fischereiunternehmen in Island ist Brim in Reykjav\u00edk mit einem Marktanteil von 10,44\u00a0%. Danach kommt \u00cdsf\u00e9lagi\u00f0 von den Westm\u00e4nnerinseln mit einem Anteil von 7,0\u00a0%, gefolgt von Samherji von Akureyri\/Dalv\u00edk mit 6,93\u00a0%. Fisk in Sau\u00f0\u00e1rkr\u00f3k steht an vierter Stelle mit einem Anteil von 6,14\u00a0%, gefolgt von \u00deorbj\u00f6rn in Grindav\u00edk mit einem Anteil von 5,33\u00a0%. Danach kommen Unternehmen aus H\u00f6fn in Hornafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, Grindav\u00edk (erneut), Westm\u00e4nnerinseln, Neskaupsta\u00f0ur und dann Nesfiskur aus Gar\u00f0ur\/Sandger\u00f0i\/Hvammstangi \u2013 Unternehmen, die im ganzen Land verteilt sind.<\/p>\n
