Dank des durchweg g\u00fcnstigen Wetters erlebte das Land keine gr\u00f6\u00dferen Krisen oder beunruhigenden Ereignisse, die unsere kollektive Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit auf die Probe stellten. Im Wesentlichen verlief das Jahr reibungslos, ohne gr\u00f6\u00dfere Herausforderungen oder St\u00f6rungen. Wenn man auf die Arbeit des Icelandic Times-Teams zur\u00fcckblickt, das Wesen der Gegenwart einzufangen \u2013 unsere lebendige Kultur, atemberaubende Landschaften, widerstandsf\u00e4hige Menschen und sich wandelnde Gesellschaft \u2013, kommen einem unz\u00e4hlige unvergessliche Momente in den Sinn. Anl\u00e4sslich dieser Zeit der Besinnung laden wir Sie ein, einige der eindrucksvollen Bilder aus unseren Januar- und Februar-Ausgaben noch einmal zu betrachten. Sie bieten einen Einblick in die stille Sch\u00f6nheit und die allt\u00e4glichen Geschichten, die die ersten Monate des Jahres gepr\u00e4gt haben. <br\/>Die besten Bilder auszuw\u00e4hlen ist nat\u00fcrlich keine leichte Aufgabe, aber diese sieben Fotografien bereiten mir die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Freude \u2013 aus den fast vierhundert, die in den ersten beiden Monaten des Jahres die Seiten
