Drei Wochen nach der Wintersonnenwende ist der Tag in der Hauptstadt um mehr als eine Stunde l\u00e4nger geworden. Oder sogar noch l\u00e4nger, denn man sp\u00fcrt und sieht, dass es viel heller ist als am 22. Dezember des letzten Jahres. Icelandic Times \/ Land &amp; Saga machte sich zu Fu\u00df auf den Weg, dem Licht folgend, entlang des Meeres, das die Halbinsel Seltjarnarnes umgibt. Auf dieser Halbinsel liegen zwei Gemeinden: Seltjarnarnes, die westlichste Stadt der Halbinsel, und die Hauptstadt Reykjav\u00edk. Auf dieser Halbinsel, die durchschnittlich 10 km lang und 4 km breit ist, lebt etwa ein Drittel der isl\u00e4ndischen Bev\u00f6lkerung, davon etwas mehr als 1 % in der Stadt Seltjarnarnes.
