Die H\u00e4lfte des Papageitaucherbestandes lebt auf den Westm\u00e4nnerinseln. Organisierte Bootstouren bringen Besucher an die Klippen, wo die V\u00f6gel nisten, und allj\u00e4hrlich tun sich Kinder zusammen, um in Papageitaucher-<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Patrouillen verloren gegangene Jungv\u00f6gel zu retten und sie am Ende des Sommers gest\u00e4rkt wieder freizulassen.<\/p>\n<p>Weitere Kolonien findet man an den Steilklippen von L\u00e1trabjarg in den Westfjorden, am Hornbjarg und im Naturschutzgebiet Hornstrandir.
