Tr\u00e8s probablement dans la r\u00e9gion de Keilir et de Fagradalsfjall sur la p\u00e9ninsule de Reykjanes car des tremblements de terre ont eu lieu depuis No\u00ebl. Le magma essaie de se frayer un chemin vers la surface. Notre deuxi\u00e8me supposition serait naturellement Katla, le grand volcan du glacier M\u00fdrdalsj\u00f6kull, pour qui l\u2019heure est venue. La derni\u00e8re \u00e9ruption de Katla date de 1918 et elle fut tr\u00e8s importante. Hekla pourrait \u00e9galement \u00eatre un bon candidat \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ruption mais il est entr\u00e9 en \u00e9ruption huit fois au cours de ces 200 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, la plus r\u00e9cente datant de l\u2019an 2000. Gr\u00edmsv\u00f6tn et B\u00e1r\u00f0arbunga situ\u00e9s sous le glacier Vatnaj\u00f6kull sont \u00e9galement surveill\u00e9s de pr\u00e8s. B\u00e1r\u00f0arbunga, second sommet le plus haut du pays, est l\u2019un des volcans les plus dangereux et les plus puissants d\u2019Islande.<\/p>\n

Keilir est \u00e0 gauche avec en arri\u00e8re-plan Fagradalsfjall sur la p\u00e9ninsule de Reykjanes, o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9ruption a commenc\u00e9 le 19 mars 2021 et s\u2019est termin\u00e9e 6 mois plus tard.
