Il \u00e9tait tout aussi r\u00e9confortant d\u2019apercevoir la sculpture \u00ab\u00a0Espoir\u00a0\u00bb du sculpteur Ragnar Kjartansson toujours \u00e9rig\u00e9e dans la ville devenue d\u00e9serte. Id\u00e9alement situ\u00e9e, la statue fut inaugur\u00e9e en\u00a01980. Mais depuis, la ville a pris des airs de ville fant\u00f4me. Quelque chose gronde dans ses profondeurs et autour du Blue Lagoon, s\u2019\u00e9tend \u00e0 Svartsengi au nord pour se poursuivre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la montagne \u00deorbj\u00f6rn et continuer sous la mer. L\u2019\u00e9quipe d\u2019Icelandic Times\/Land &amp; Saga s\u2019est rendue sur place afin de capturer les images de ce d\u00e9sastre dont personne ne peut pr\u00e9dire la fin. Malgr\u00e9 ces paysages tortur\u00e9s, l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art \u00e9rig\u00e9e il y a plus de 40\u00a0ans l\u2019Espoir reste debout, signe que Grindav\u00edk surmontera \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr
