Le lac Kleifarvatn, sur la p\u00e9ninsule de Reykjanes, est \u00e0 deux pas de la capitale. Il suffit d’une demi-heure environ pour rejoindre en voiture le monde presque magique qui s’offre \u00e0 vous depuis le centre de Reykjavik.Avec ses 10 km\u00b2, ce lac est le plus grand de Reykjanes et le 19e plus grand d’Islande, ainsi que le troisi\u00e8me plus profond. Aucun cours d’eau ne l’alimente, et son niveau peut fluctuer jusqu’\u00e0 quatre m\u00e8tres, car le sol poreux qui l’entoure repose sur la zone volcanique de Krisuvik, l’une des six ceintures volcaniques de la p\u00e9ninsule de Reykjanes.Une zone g\u00e9othermique se situe sur la rive sud du lac, et de nombreux visiteurs se rendent \u00e0Seltun, la station thermale situ\u00e9e juste au sud de Kleifarvatn. <\/p>\n\n
