Le photographe Kristj\u00e1n Maack y parvient exceptionnellement bien dans son exposition \u00ab G\u00e9ants endormis \u00bb au Mus\u00e9e de la photographie de Reykjav\u00edk. L\u2019objectif de Kristj\u00e1n avec cette s\u00e9rie est de r\u00e9v\u00e9ler un monde en perp\u00e9tuelle mutation, nous offrant un aper\u00e7u d\u2019un royaume de glace fondante o\u00f9 ces \u00ab g\u00e9ants endormis \u00bb surgissent et disparaissent tout aussi rapidement. Car les glaciers en crue sont les avant-postes de la calotte glaciaire elle-m\u00eame \u2014 des lieux o\u00f9, apr\u00e8s des milliers d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es de sommeil, ils s&rsquo;\u00e9veillent et s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8vent, pour ensuite dispara\u00eetre \u00e0 nouveau. <br\/>Kristj\u00e1n, photographe depuis plus de trente ans, affronte l&rsquo;un des plus grands d\u00e9fis de notre \u00e9poque \u2014 le changement climatique \u2014 avec son appareil photo comme une arme. \u00ab Le changement climatique est notre plus grande menace, m\u00eame lorsque nous dormons, car il ne conna\u00eet
