Il s’agit de Landmannalaugar, au c\u0153ur des Hautes Terres ; Langisj\u00f3r, nich\u00e9 au pied du Vatnaj\u00f6kull occidental, dans le comt\u00e9 de Skaftafell Ouest ; L\u00f3ns\u00f6r\u00e6fi, dans le comt\u00e9 de Skaftafell Est, \u00e0 l’autre extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 du Vatnaj\u00f6kull ; et enfin Langanes, \u00e0 l’extr\u00eame nord-est de l’Islande.
