H\u00f6f\u00f0i is a house in northern Reykjav\u00edk, the capital city of Iceland, built in 1909. H\u00f6f\u00f0i is located at F\u00e9lagst\u00fan. Initially, it was built for the French consul Jean-Paul Brillouin in Iceland and was the exclusive residence of poet and businessman Einar Benediktsson (1864-1940) for many years. It is best known as the location for the 1986 Reykjav\u00edk Summit meeting of presidents Ronald Reagan of the United States and Mikhail Gorbachev of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. That effectively was a step to the end of the Cold War. Within the building the flags of the United States and the Soviet Union are cross-hung to commemorate the meeting<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Al\u00feingish\u00fasi\u00f0<\/a>
Al\u00feingish\u00fasi\u00f0 (The Parliament House) is a classical 19th century structure which stands by Austurv\u00f6llur in central Reykjav\u00edk, Iceland. It houses Al\u00feingi, the Icelandic parliament. The building was designed by Danish architect Ferdinand Meldahl and built using hewn dolerite during 1880 to 1881.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Il y a de nombreuses galeries d\u2019art et des mus\u00e9es et l\u00b4Harpa, le nouvel op\u00e9ra et centre de conf\u00e9rences propose un programme vari\u00e9 chaque mois. L\u00b4innovation et la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 jouent un r\u00f4le majeur dans la vie quotidienne. La campagne se trouve juste \u00e0 la sortie de la ville. Les activit\u00e9s possibles sont innombrables. Parmi elles, les excursions pour observer les baleines et les oiseaux, aller p\u00eacher, aller \u00e0 la piscine, faire des randonn\u00e9es \u00e0 cheval ou en v\u00e9lo sont tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9es. Les soir\u00e9es du weekend sont r\u00e9put\u00e9es et la ville est anim\u00e9e jusqu\u00b4au petit matin. Les bars et restaurants sont l\u00e9gions et proposent \u00e0 la fois de la cuisine islandaise et internationale. Il y en a pour tous les go\u00fbts. Il en est de m\u00eame pour les h\u00e9bergements, il y en a pour tous les budgets.<\/p>\n
