Eyjarnar í Breiðafirði, vötnin á Arnarvatnsheiði og hólarnir í Vatnsdal. Allt staðir á vestur helmingi landsins. Vatnsdalshólar er víðáttumikil hólaþyrping í mynni Vatnsdals í Austur-Húnavatnssýslu. Hæstu hólarnir ná nærri 90 metra hæð yfir sjávarmáli. Talið að hólarnir hafi myndast við gríðarmikið berghlaup úr Vatnsdalsfjalli.
