Persónulega finnst mér myndhöggvarinn Ásmundur Sveinsson (1893-1982 ) fanga þjóðarsálina, okkur sem þjóð, ansi vel. Hann var tröll sem listamaður, og skapaði bæði tröll, fagurt fólk og fígúrur á sínum langa ferli.
