Alda Ingibergsdóttir er fædd og uppalin í Hafnarfirði. Hún lauk einsöngvaraprófi frá Söngskólanum í Reykjavík og fór síðan í framhaldsnám við Trinity College of Music í London, þaðan sem hún útskrifaðist með „Fellowship Diploma“.
