Landi\u00f0 keyptu \u00feau \u00e1ri\u00f0 1914 af Gu\u00f0mundi Jafetssyni (1845-1918) en hann haf\u00f0i byggt \u00fear l\u00edti\u00f0 timburh\u00fas \u00e1ri\u00f0 1907 sem kalla\u00f0ist H\u00e1teigur. \u00dea\u00f0 h\u00fas st\u00f3\u00f0 \u00fear sem n\u00fa er gatan Langahl\u00ed\u00f0 og var seinna kalla\u00f0 Litli-H\u00e1teigur. Gata sem l\u00f6g\u00f0 var fr\u00e1 Rau\u00f0ar\u00e1rst\u00edg a\u00f0 H\u00e1teigi og \u00e1fram upp \u00e1 holti\u00f0 \u00e1 \u00feessum t\u00edma var nefnd H\u00e1teigsvegur eftir b\u00fdlinu. Halld\u00f3r og Ragnhildur voru \u00fej\u00f3\u00f0\u00feekkt f\u00f3lk, en Halld\u00f3r var me\u00f0al annars skipstj\u00f3ri \u00e1 J\u00f3ni forseta, fyrsta togaranum sem sm\u00ed\u00f0a\u00f0ur var fyrir \u00cdslendinga. Ragnhildur var landskunn fyrir afskipti s\u00edn af f\u00e9lags- og menningarm\u00e1lum og a\u00f0 H\u00e1teigi stunda\u00f0i h\u00fan k\u00faab\u00faskap um aldarfj\u00f3r\u00f0ungsskei\u00f0.
