Education:

School of Architecture, Department of Design, Copenhagen 1973-79.

Experiences:

Employed at Holmegaard Glassworks, design and unica 1986-89. 

Own studio in Copenhagen since 1990.

Visiting teacher at:

School of Arts & Crafts, Copenhagen 1985 to 1990. 

Handicraft School Kerteminde 1989-91. 

Arts and Crafts School in Kolding 1990-92.

Glass Courses in own workshop and publication of a textbook.

Motifs:

Inspiration comes from Icelandic nature elements – glaciers and lava formations – in unity with an archetypical symbolism from Nordic mythology. Favourite creatures: the mischievous Drysils that follow in the wake of the Hekla.
