The Freezer Hostel

The Freezer is a unique social hostel and cultural centre, situated in a renovated fish factory in Rif on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. All year round we offer cheap accommodation and regular events and entertainment for our guests and the local community. In the summertime (June – August) we run a weekly schedule of art and culture (Theatre, live music, storytelling, game nights etc.) where everyone is welcome! We are proud to use the “pay what you like” pricing system. This means that instead of a single ticket price, we allow our guests to pay exactly what they like for attending our in-house events.
