The Icelandic Handcrafts Association Day

The Icelandic Handcrafts Association Day
The Icelandic Handcrafts Association will visit the museum this Sunday. Members of the associations will
display various kinds of handicrafts for visitors, e.g. how to make shoes out of fish skin and the delicate
work that goes into making the national costume for women.
During the summer months, staff wear period costumes, and domestic animals bite fresh grass around the
museum site.
Admission is free for children 17 years and younger.

Árbær Open Air Museum is open daily in the summer from 10:00 – 17:00.
