The night yes the night

It is great, as a tourist (yes and as a local), now that the air is getting warmer to walk around and explore Reykjavík in the evening or at night. The city is so quiet, few people on the streets, and you feel very safe. Icelandic Times / Land & Saga went down to Vatnsmýri and the surrounding area to capture this atmosphere, when there is a slight hint of spring in the air, as the spring equinox is only about 3 weeks away. The days are getting longer now, sunrise in Reykjavík is now at 08:21 and sunset at half past five, or exactly at 18:29. According to Icelandic folklore, which is often quite close to the truth, the greatest chance of seeing the magnificent northern lights is around the spring equinox. So hurry up to spend some quality time outside in the dark.
