In Gudmundarlundur, a beautiful recreational area just above the highest neighbourhoods of Kópavogur, a true Christmas Land has been created for the youngest residents of the capital area. Here, visitors can meet the Yule Lads—the 13 Icelandic equivalents of Santa Claus—and their mother Grýla; play various games and dance around the Christmas tree. A magical wonderland that, of course, Land & Saga / Icelandic Times visited. Here are snapshots of young and old enjoying a delightful day. The festive atmosphere at the site is absolutely fantastic.
