It is exceptionally beautiful to see the sun go down where it disappears into the sea and in good weather you can see all the way to the West-Fjord.
It’s also great to see the seals playing in the estuary.

Hrútey Island is 15 minutes’ walk from the property and the Blönduóss public swimming pool is 1 km away. Other area activities include hiking along the neighbouring Blanda River and horseback riding.
