The Photogenic South Iceland

What makes salmon fishing so exciting is that you never know if you’ll catch the big one. The same applies to photography—you go on a fishing trip, capturing pictures, and you never know what you’ll bring back. Is it the shot—the one and only? Icelandic Times visited South Iceland to capture the Northern Lights. The forecast was good. They didn’t show up, however, but the landscape, in daylight, was at its best. This is the season to travel around the country, because when one scene doesn’t deliver photographically, another, possibly even better, is just around the next hill.
