Icelandic Times / Land & Saga went sightseeing at the end of winter. Headed east from Reykjavík. At this time of year, at the end of March, beginning of April, the light is most beautiful, the air clear, winter turning into spring. All kinds weather can be expected. Here are portraits of what we found and experienced in bad weather, wind, rain and snowfall. Iceland at its best and worst. The ring road was closed, east of Höfn in Hornafjörður, but then there is always something else to see and experience.
