Nocturnal Ramblings

Nothing beats a beautiful summer night and fortunately, Iceland enjoys the luxury of three months filled with bright hours from dusk till dawn. No sooner than “Shopkeepers’ Weekend”—the first weekend of August and the busiest tourist weekend of the Iceland—will the country see the return of a relatively dark interval between days. Icelandic Times took a stroll in downtown Reykjavík just a few moments before midnight to catch the incomparable light and the people basking in it.
