The Delights of Icelandic Summer

Nothing compares to an Icelandic summer––when the weather is good. Perpetual daylight with days and nights blending together. The forecast is looking good; the Icelandic Meteorological Office forecasts good weather for the coming days, especially in the north and east, which have so far only had a slight taste of summer. Icelandic Times took a trip to Kjós area, Meðalfellsvatn lake to be specific, in the southern part of Hvalfjörður. The result is the accompanying photo series, where summer plays a central part. Truly an Icelandic summer bliss.
