It is likely that Snæfellsjökull is the most beautiful volcano in the country. At least that thought always comes to mind when I photograph this mountain, located at the westernmost part of Snæfellsnes, in the national park of the same name. Here are some of my favorite pictures of Snæfellsjökull, most taken in July, when the summer/light is at its best.
