Looking back III

Looking back on the seven hundred photographs we published in May and June in Icelandic Times, it’s almost impossible to select the absolute finest. Yet here are eight images that hold a special place in our hearts—each one distilling the essence of those fleeting summer days. Some capture the quiet rhythm of everyday life; others freeze a singular moment that arrived, lingered briefly, and vanished forever. How swiftly we forget. As I scroll through the photographs we took this month, I’m struck by how extraordinarily kind the weather was last year—warm, radiant, and endlessly bright throughout May and June.
