Autumn Symphony of Colors

Are there really only two seasons in Iceland? The bright one and the dark one — with
the latter beginning now, after the autumn equinox. The difference in temperature
between summer and winter in Iceland is in fact minimal. But with light, plants thrive
surprisingly well, and Iceland is remarkably green.

When autumn arrives, everything changes. Nature creates a palette of colors to delight
us before the long darkness and colorlessness of winter, which lasts well into May,
even early June. Enjoy the autumn.
