Árbær Open Air Museum
Bank Holiday Weekend 5-6 August, 2018
Come and play! Outdoor games for kids
During Bank Holiday Weekend, 5-6 August 1, kids can play and learn outdoor games at Árbær Open Air Museum as well as enjoy a ride on the swing or try out hula hoops and other toys.
At 13:00 and onwards kids can compete in all kinds of games such as sack race and tug of war.

For the youngest we recommend a visit to the exhibition “Come and play” in one of the museum building called Landakot which contains a variety of toys from various times that children are free to play with.

Árbær Open Air Museum is a living ‘village’, where you can stroll through Reykjavík’s past. Over twenty traditional homes and buildings offer a variety of exhibitions, while animals, crafts and fun family activities bring the past vividly to life.
On Sunday 6 August there will be a mass at the museum church at 11:00.
Light refreshments will be available as usual at Dillon’s Café!
Árbær Open Air Museum is open daily in the summer from 10:00 – 17:00.
Árbær Open Air Museum is part of Reykjavík City Museum: one museum in five unique places.
