Una Local Store

Sveitabúðin Una (Una local store) is a local store in the town of Hvolsvöllur in South Iceland. The store is in an old Nissen hut that was once a part of the first store in Hvolsvöllur many years ago.

The UNA local store got it´s name from a legend about the Una Álfkona (UNA the elf woman) who lived by the farm Rauðafell nearby Hvolsvöllur.

Una offers a great selection of hand-picked local products and souvenirs with a nice blend of unique handcraft, art and design products as well as  products from Icelandic nature such as jams, teas, spices, kelp sauce, rhubarb candy and more. Have a seat in their cosy corner and enjoy light refreshments after a fun shopping spree!
