Yes, it is beautiful by Húnaflói

The two Húnavatn counties, in the northwest, on the east and south sides of Húnaflói, are exceptionally beautiful in the winter. There is the low-key beauty in Vatnsnes, extreme weather conditions in the north at Skagi, with exceptional light, and in the valley is the calm. More than one tenth of the ring road runs through the counties, many go by in a hurry from the capital, north to Akureyri, Mývatn or north to Grjótnes on Slétta but it is worth while taking a day or two, summer or winter, and explore the Húnavatn counties more closely.
