Gallery Port at Laugavegur 32 makes the capital better. Right there in the city center is this small gallery with exhibitions that challenge, delight and enliven our existence. Auður Ómarsdóttir is currently doing the exhibition Halda Áfram at Gallery Port. Auður uses the hat as a beacon, a key to an emotional door. Inscrutable shadow creatures, who are independent, as the artist has always been very interested in hats. Auður has been working a lot lately with realistic works, now it was time to do something different, since the hat is abstract, and the top layer of the human costume.
