Akranes Swimming Pool

The Jaðarsbakkar pool in Akranes has especially good facilities for swimming. There is an old tradition of swimming at Skagi and many of Iceland’s most famous swimmers hail from there.  Water from Deildartunguhver hotspring is used to warm up Akranes Swimming Pool.
