Grundarfjörður Information Center

The Tourist Information Center in Grundarfjörður helps you with information regarding the Snæfellsnes peninsula and other inquiries.
Established in the same building are Kaffi Emil, Bæringsstofa and a library.

Cafe Emil offers a variety of refreshments and light dishes, hot and cold beverages. 

Bæringsstofa is a photo museum that offers guests to sit down and watch a slideshow of old photos from Grundarfjörður, bringing them back into the days of old.

Open 1st May – 30th September, daily from 9:00 to 18:00 and 1st October – 30th April, daily from 10:00 to 18:00.
