Húsid Guesthouse, built in 1929 as a school in the idyllic area Fljótshlíð, south Iceland. From the house, guests have front row seats over Eyjafjallajökull (Yes, the one no one can pronounce) and the mountain Þríhyrningur, a majestic mountain with three mountain tops.
The house who have hosted a guesthouse for 25 years is exceptionally well maintained and the rooms very comfy, bright with fantastic views through all windows.
The all year around guesthouse have all the typical south Iceland activities by its doorstep such as superjeep trips over glaciers, snowmobiling, horseback trips and numerous hikes.
