Hotel Eldborg

Hotel Eldborg – is located on the beautiful Snæfellsnes peninsula, approx. 50 km. from Borgarnes and Stykkishólmur, on the banks of Haffjarðará river. The location is ideal for sightseeing in West Iceland, for example visit to the Snæfellsnes glacier and other interesting sites on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, bird or whale watching on Breiðafjörður or the beautiful Borgarfjörður district.

Convenient for groups and individuals – Hotel Eldborg is a friendly, family run hotel, which can accomodate groups for up to 50 to 60 people in 26 double/triple rooms. 16 rooms have handbasin. All rooms have shared showers and toilets.

Home-made meals – breakfast, lunches and dinner as well as light refreshments, coffee and home-made pastries during the day. Please note that meals for groups must be booked in advance.

A large camp site next to Hotel Eldborg. The hotel is a summer hotel and is a school during wintertime.
