Ísafold is an exciting restaurant located at Þingholtsstræti in one of the most trendy part of the city center. The restaurant is stylish and smart but at the same time quite casual making the atmosphere at the restaurant relaxed and friendly. At Ísafold we take great pride in selecting only the best local products and to offer a genuine Nordic culinary experience. We go to great lengths to make sure our ingredinents are locally sourced and suppliers are handpicked by our head chef Úlfur Uggason. Wherever possible we offer organic and socially responsible products. All our greens are sourced from local greenhouses in Hveragerði and our meat is 100% Icelandic including the lamb which is semi-wild, bred in Icelandic highlands during the summer months. There is a good selection of cocktails, wines, whiskey and a selection of other spirits at Isafold and Happy hour every day from 11:30 til midnight. The theme of Isafold Restaurant is the incredible Icelandic nature with water, wood and lava. There are seats for around 50 persons at Isafold and a good selection of group menus and canapés menu making Isafold an ideal restaurant for groups.
