Karolina Larusdottir was born in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1944. Larusdottir lived and worked in the British Isles from the mid sixties for nearly fifty years.
She lived and worked in the UK since got her education there in 1965, but has lived in Iceland for the past few years. Her work is shaped by British artistic tradition, but her subject matter is always Icelandic and frequently draws on childhood memories.
