Ninukot was started by Svanborg Oskarsdottir in 1996. Since then hundreds of young Europeans have found work in Iceland through Ninukot. Svanborg’s co-workers are Kristrun, Bjarney, Nína and Siggi.
Ninukot started on a small farm in south of Iceland. There, Svanborg lived with her family, her thirty or so cows, two hundred sheep, her dogs Voffi (Barky) and Logi (Fire) and her cat Vaela (Whiner).
Ninukot offers a unique opportunity to visit Iceland and experience it as a native.
You will work and live with Icelanders in the beautiful countryside; make new friends, learn a new language and challenge yourself in a new and different environment.
EXPERIENCE ICELAND THROUGH WORK!
Ninukot offers work in several sectors. You can choose from working on a farm milking cows or gathering hay, meet people from all over the world in a country hotel, grow vegetables in greenhouses, take care of children and a household, and a selection of other jobs all around Iceland.
Ninukot can also provide unpaid internship placements in multiple fields upon request. We look forward to hearing from you before, during and after your stay in Iceland!
Please notice:
Ninukot only finds work for people from the European Economic Area (EEA).
