Welcome to Katrín Inga’s performance, A dream come true 3-6-9, July 15th at 17:00, at The Living Art Museum, Marshall House. The performance is a part of Leftovers, a performance series taking place over the summer. The tangible materials and objects created during the performances will remain in the exhibition space and serve as material for the artists that follow. The works will be documented in various ways: by audio recording, through creative writing and captured on video or photos. Finally, the material will be cataloged and preserved in Nýló’s Performance Archive. The Performance archive will be accessible in the exhibition space during the summer. Leftovers point in various directions, to socio-political cultural creation, preservation of records, rituals and rules of a possibly new game.
The curator is Liisi Kõuhkna, the participating artists are: Kamile Pikelyte, Wiola Ujazdowska, Katrín Inga Jónsdóttir Hjördísardóttir, Kolbeinn Hugi, Unnur Andrea Einarsdóttir, Clare Aimée.
At the commence of the project the curator invited two artists to participate in the performance series. As in a relay race they passed on the baton to the next two artists, who then invited the following ones and so forth.
