The Circus Is Coming To Town!
The folks at the Árbær Open Air Museum can’t wait for the arrival of the circus, which is on its way to town with all its fantastic acts and talented performers. There will be acrobatics, an amazing wizard, a bearded lady, The Invisible Man of Suðurgata Street and many more fascinating
characters. The strongest man in the world will be there, too, showing off his power lifts.
In the town square, you can take a ride in the fantastic new kids’ train, buy a candy treat from the circus girls and roast marshmallows around the campfire. There will be fun and games a-plenty!
Don’t forget to stop by Landakot to check out the toy exhibition where you can play with everything on show. At the Árbær Open Air Museum, the chickens roam free, and there are sheep in the pastures. Hot drinks and refreshments are available at Dillon’s House.
The admission fee is 1,740 Icelandic Kronur. Free for children, disabled and holders of the Reykjavík Culture Pass.
The Árbær Open Air Museum is part of the Reykjavík City Museum – One museum, five fabulous locations!
